Background

Born in England , Nicki Dabner has been lecturing at the College of Education since 1989, teaching initially in the areas of Visual Art Education and Professional Studies. After completing a DipICTEd in 2004, she has developed an interest in the area of Information Communication Technologies in education, and e-learning in particular. In 2003, she developed GradNet, an online community site designed to provide support for teacher education graduates during their two-year provisional registration period. Her visual art interests include photography, multi-media and jewellery design.
